Clinical Evaluation of Predisposing Factors of Hypoglycaemia in Diabetic Patients

Background: Hypoglycemia is a common medical problem in diabetic patients, and the potential range of morbidity mortality patients exposed to hypoglycemia significant. The study was conducted evaluate predisposing factors populations.
 Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional carried out indoor outdoor patient department BIRDEM hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh, from July 2009 December after ethical approval conformity with revised 1964 Helsinki declaration. Following informed written consent, total 50 having were finally included. Data analysis done using SPSS 17.
 Results: In population, significant members hypoglycemic episodes found middle age (31-70) insulin-treated poor education those who had other concomitant diseases. Poor dietary compliance (Reduced meal intake 50% cases missed 34% cases) lack proper about early recognition treatment also appeared as important contributory factors. Noncompliance regular exercise (40%) unaccustomed (4%) contribute hypoglycemia. A number have chronic renal insufficiency (68%).
 Conclusion: population knowledge practice diet, drug technique of, use insulin devices, an underlying systemic illness. So more rational system appropriate management diseases regarding prevention demanded by our patients.
